The grooved panel absorber offers an absorption solution where speech intelligibility and critical listening are essential — ideal for the acoustic treatment of listening rooms and recording studios while enhancing the visual appeal of the space with an elegant wood finish. The panel has fiberglass insulation backing with variable thickness depending on the acoustic needs of the space, and provides effective absorption below 1 kHz. The absorptive frequency range can be lowered by increasing rear insulation thickness, while frequencies above 1 kHz are reflected to avoid unnecessary high-frequency absorption. Groove and perforation patterns are custom tailored to project specifications.
