
Diffuser
Diffusers featuring deep wells provide effective diffusion in the low-frequency range but exhibit considerable limitations in the high-frequency range. The integration of a one-dimensional nested diffuser results in an expanded diffusion bandwidth, surpassing that of conventional diffusers. Consequently, this facilitates a uniform sound field across an extensive frequency spectrum. This particular diffuser ensures consistent diffusion above 400Hz. It was designed using AFMG Reflex, a simulation software grounded in the Boundary Element Method (BEM), which accurately computes the reflection, diffusion, and scattering characteristics of the diffuser surface.
